All exterior parts are crafted from Fir wood, chosen for its tighter grain that resists warping, shrinking, and twisting better than Pine. Each piece is dipped in 100% natural beeswax, giving the hive a golden honey finish while protecting the wood, no painting needed. Dovetail joints are precision-cut to stay square and hold up for years.
